Our group of students had the pleasure of having lunch at The Melt after a special field trip to Project Princess to pick out their prom dresses, and it was the perfect way to end the day! From start to finish, The Melt exceeded our expectations. The food was absolutely delicious, and what truly stood out was the incredible kindness and efficiency of the entire team. We had a few last-minute changes to our students' meal selections (oops!), and the staff, especially Alice, handled it with such grace and flexibility. They were so accommodating and made sure everyone got exactly what they wanted without a hitch. And the surprise cookies for dessert? Absolutely divine! Our students felt so spoiled and pampered – it was such a thoughtful and generous touch that truly made their day even more special. Thank you, Alice and the entire team at The Melt, for your wonderful food, your incredible efficiency in handling a large group, and your genuine kindness towards our students. You helped create a truly memorable experience for them, and we will definitely be back! Highly recommend The Melt for a delicious and welcoming experience!

I had an exceptional dining experience at Melt in San Francisco. My husband and I became true fans after enjoying their delicious offerings 3 times during our 5-day stay at SF. The Melt Burger, Steak and Fajita Mac 'n Cheese, Steak and Cheese Melt, and Beef Patty Melt were all mouthwateringly good. The top-notch service, even during late-night hours (we dined at 2 am), and warm ambience added to the overall excellence of this establishment. Melt is a definite must-visit for its delectable menu, exceptional service, and convenient late-night hours.

This spot surprised me on how good the food actually was! Wow! Burger melted in my mouth, great pricing, no wait neither. If you in downtown SF, definitely have to try this spot out!

When I went to melt, they had at the time a Grilled Cheese combo with the soup for like 7.99. this was way back like 10 years ago. I'm glad they're still around, kinda like the sister store to Super Duper. They have a similar concept. Anyhow, the soup was Tomato/Basil... Best for the price. I'm sure it's the same taste, I don't doubt there's quality still. I hope the two survive!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Melt, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience! The service was impressively fast, making it easy to enjoy a quick meal without any hassle. Ordering was a breeze with the convenient iPad-style screens, allowing for a smooth and efficient process. Now, let's talk about the food. The fries were absolutely exceptional—crispy and perfectly seasoned, they were a highlight of the meal! The burgers were equally tasty, bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was enjoyable, with both indoor and outdoor seating options that cater to your preference. Overall, The Melt offers a great combination of delicious food and efficient service. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a satisfying meal!

I can’t believe this is my first time trying out the melt and there are plenty all around the Bay Area so I had to try their original Cheeseburger aka melt burger which originally is the cheeseburger with a little bit of pickles, you can add lettuce, tomatoes, and onions to it for free. My other friend got a mushroom burger and they have plenty of non meat options like mac cheese and other burgers. We got sweet potato and regular fries. Each burger comes with a huge pickle. We dined in on a Tuesday night and it was pretty busy, we sat near the bathrooms but nice and chill spot. We ordered through the kiosks. This is a pretty busy area so parking can be a bit difficult.

Great location, on a long walk from Pier 15 to the Painted Ladies. We chose this place because my kid is super picky and likes mac and cheese and grilled cheese. The business area has views of tall buildings. We’ve been here for a weekend, and it’s been easy and nice to walk around. The space is clean, and there’s a security guard on duty. Self-ordering and service were convenient. My kid was happy with the taste, and I was okay with the soup.
